Kelsie Forbush – Psychology
Dr. Kelsie Forbush began with KU in 2014 in the department of Psychology. She currently heads a research group of 6 students and provides exceptional support to each and every one of them. She is the type of person who always makes time for her students, whether it is meeting in person or answering questions on email. She is welcoming of all questions and learning opportunities, and looks at situations from a “big picture” perspective and uses them as a learning opportunity for both herself and her students. One nominator praised Dr. Forbush’s ability to go above and beyond for her students stating “under the mentorship of Dr. Forbush, I went from zero publications to over 10 publications.” Congratulations to Dr. Kelsie Forbush!
