Daryl Hesse - Clinial Child Psychology​

Daryl Rosenblum Hesse is a first-year graduate student in the Clinical Child Psychology Program. Daryl graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She completed a Master of Science in experimental psychology at William & Mary in 2020. Daryl is interested in the development of externalizing problems (e.g., aggressive, delinquent, and substance use behaviors) in children and adolescents. During her graduate studies, Daryl plans to research processes that contribute to these behaviors, including family and peer socialization.

Daniel Noe - Chemistry

Anika James - Molecular Biosciences​

Anika James is a first year PhD student in the Department of Molecular Biosciences. She graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in May 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Her research interests include cell, molecular, and cancer biology. She plans on pursuing these interests in the lab of Dr. Kristi Neufeld, whose lab particularly studies the role of a tumor suppressor protein called Adenomatous Polyposis Coli (APC) in colon cancer. Anika's research will primarily be based on further elucidating the role of APC in inflammation in the intestinal epithelium.
