The Kate Stephens Fellowship provides a single, one-time award of up to $8,000 for the study of literature, history, or ethics at the graduate level. To be eligible, nominees must have completed their undergraduate or master’s degree at KU and intend to continue on in a master’s or doctoral program in one of the humanities or interdisciplinary & international studies departments, programs, or centers. Eligible academic units may nominate one outstanding KU student who has expressed an interest in or has applied to their master’s or doctoral program. The fellowship is awarded every other year.
This award is available every other year. The next call for nominations and application instructions will be posted the end of the Fall 2017 Semester.
