Workshops
Departments are welcome to contact the Assistant Director of COGA, Brittney Tyler-Milholland, to request graduate student professional workshops. Workshops available range in topics including, but not limited to, time management, career exploration (for non-academic paths), interview preparation, elevator pitches, and resume building. This is not an exhaustive list of workshops available, and departments are welcome to contact Brittney to request workshops focused to the needs of the unit. While Brittney will work with college units to develop unit specific workshops, depending upon the content requested, she may work in collaboration with Nicole Reiz, the Director of Professional Development and Communications, or Jade Chalkley, Graduate Careers Coordinator, in the Office of Graduate Studies, to develop the materials and/or present the workshop.If your department is interested in requesting a workshop, please email the Assistant Director of COGA directly using the link below.

Other Services Provided
The Assistant Director of COGA, Brittney Tyler-Milholland, is available to work directly with programs interested in creating unit level professional development milestones as part of their program requirements. If programs are interested in examples of unit level professional development milestones, their graduate program coordinator can provide them with handbook examples.Please email Brittney, if you would like to meet and discuss the option of creating unit level professional development milestones.
